There is no order to my archives.
There’s no master sheet with precise locations of each individual item. No logbook or cataloguing system. It all just is. Proper archivists/librarians would be horrified at how it’s all set up. But I have to admit that it’s a lot of fun to open a box to see what’s in it and discover a sixteen year old CD-Rom backup of some uncompressed, unbranded spcOnline content. Some of it never ended up on the website; I had been contracted to shoot a few tattoo conventions for BME and having submitted the finished photos only some were used. The rest have been on that disc for a decade and a half. I found some great pictures- a client with some amazing cutting by Raelyn Gallina & Keith Alexander, a tight lacing devotee who I’d seen in Fakir’s Body Play & Modern Primitives Quarterly and, surprisingly, this 30 odd second import of an 8mm tape from the Jack Yount Collection that I had started working on in 1998.
The very brief snippet includes Jack and R.S. doing a show & tell of their modifications; in Jack’s case that included a full subincision and glans splitting and extensive silicone enhancement, and for R.S. it was a fully bisected penis and scrotum. This footage was filmed in San Diego before the gentlemen went for a visit to Dr. Ronald Brown for some surgical work. The rest of the tape exists and will hopefully one day be converted for preservation.

That’s interesting, I found photos of his bisected penis on BME quite some time ago wich obviousely where taken as still pictures from this video. Thanks for posting!
They were taken from the same day, yes, but not screen grabs from the video.
They were among the first photos I submitted to BME back in 1995. I dug up some photos of his labioplasty the other day that I’ll try to get online when inspiration strikes.
